Favia coral

I heard from my lfs they like med to high flow, is this true? Also are they easy to keep? I kinda banged him up a little putting him into the tank so im hoping he will be ok.

These are very undemanding corals IME and will tolerate a wide variety of conditions.

IME, they are have done better in low to moderate flow and low light.

Agree with the others. They don't need high flow or light. They are a great beginner stoney coral.

I purchased mine and it had bleached spots. I placed them in the sand bed in my tank they got worst. The whole thing started too go. I then moved out to a shady spot in between some rocks and it has colored up nicely. That my experience with favias.
