Favia Favus...

Lately my favia hasn't puffed up. And now it is dying. THe skeleton is starting to show. Whats wrong?

Maybe it does not have enough light?? Try moving it higher towards the light and see if that helps!! Any change in your parameters lately??

Ok Ill find a spot higher to the light. Right now it rests on the bottom.No big problems with chemistry either. Thanks josh.

Its so so still. I need to do a water change and then I can really diagnose this thing. I'll have some pics up later tonight.

Did something sting it ?

You say chemistry is in check but what are your params? temp? temp swings?

Yes I do try to target feed. My hammer coral did fall on it a while back but.

Its kinda weird what happend this morning. I have left my favia in this spot for a while and yesterday it was still not puffing and its skeleton was showing. But this morning I was looking at the tank with out the lights on. About 1 hour after that I turned the lights on and the thing was just about fully puffed up. So to (hopefully) inforce it puffing i spot feed it some roto rich. Im still watching for its tentacles to come out. But i think it maybe getting better.
