Favia Frag Placement

Do I need to put a small favia frag on another rock? Or what? I got no idea. Does it encrust to other rocks or will it create it's own skeleton like thing on the sand?

Keep it on a rock for now while it heals and grows a little. Then you can put it on the sand. Just make sure it does not get burried.
