Ade, thats a sweet looking favia, it looks really healthy too. I picked up my first favia frag a few months back and probably paid too much, but I still like it anyways

Thanks Josh, Yours doesn't look too shabby either.
I got mine for a steal, we ended up at UA on our crawl and got what you see for $75. Not bad for a Tyree War Coral.

not bad! that aspera chalice doesn't look too shabby either. ;)

here is my peace favia. its pretty wicked.

Alex, has that thing been growing? I think its time for an updated picture.

The acans that I got from the group buy are doing awesome. Most of the polyps that were cut have reformed!

Few more.

yeah, i don't like how its growing on the frag disk, so i'll prob be fragging it up in another month or two. i just recently cut a frag off for a trade, and i didn't really like the way it fragged as skeleton on the disc was very brittle.

I take most of my frags off the discs. I don't like the way they look when I try to incorporate them into the rockwork (not to say you won't spot more than a few in my tank).

Alex, that purple and green favia is sweet. Ade, I really like the first picture of the favia eating and the second picture is even better. :D Michael R

i really should have taken it off the disc as soon as i got it, and put it onto a rock. the way it grew from the frag to the rock.....was very odd. as the skeleton tried to span a pretty big gap, and thus is very brittle. when i fragged it, i think i killed off a few polyps since i had to use my dremel. as the frag cutters just made the skeleton under the flesh start to crumble.

I believe it is. I was there when you bought yours. There were 2 other frags at that time. This was one of them. Picked it up several weeks ago.
