Hey Sheol here the flamethrower Favia pic... Thanks for the pic clockwork... its hard to capture the orange rim in the pics but looks just like my flamethrower chalice. its pretty neat.

Here is another one im trying to find a name for any ideas?????? coloring up reall really nice lately

Flamethrower is the best name for the first one, looks to be the species of my newest addition ( the one whose pic I'm still trying to get over here from Photobucket without much success) which is a duller shade of red with some pink. Its still a cool one & so far has escaped whatever is afflicting my Xmas tree & Chocolatemint colonies.
Hmm, the second one? Neon lights is the only thing that comes to mind. Maybe Saturday Night Neon Favia?

How about the "Now and Laters Favia"? It was a very poplular candy back in the day. It came in all types of flavors and colors. Maybe it's a good name? I don't know...maybe I'm just hungry.....:lol:

Beautiful piece none-the-less. Perhaps if I could see a frag in person, I could come up with some better names...

Can you take this picture, backing up a little so we can see it in the tank? That coloration is incredible.

Thanks guys i really like it..... hey Mark i will tell my friend to take a farther back pic although it will probably be like half the colony now since i fragged the hell out of it already. been shipping some frags out. anyone want to do some trades i still have a couple of frags left.... it seems to be a fast grower... will also try to take a pic of a frag since they show the orange rim the most.

That is even better looking the second time around! Love it! I might soon be in the market for new Favia ( sadly, my X-mas tree passed away yesterday. I don't know if my Cherub is a suspect or just the previous crappy light set. )
