Love that red & green one, Saltcreep. Is the last pic a frag of Baby'sbreath?
I was working on a deal to get a small frag of my own but my source has been banned & I've serios doubts about his veracity. Ces't le vie..

Very nice pics!

No idea, but it is a beautiful piece with some strange growth patterns at the top. Perhaps it grew over something else that used to be on that rock.

I don't know, the piece is atleast 4.5x4"

Here's an actinic Shot

Emoezekielsr5- Very nice. Any idea how many heads are on that piece??

Rich- Thanks. LOL.

Man, the last 6 or 7 pics are freakin' INSANE!
Grisha has a couple of Favids that look like Acans & Scolys more than Favia & the last 2 are drop dead gorgeous. Obviously we are not EVEN close to the end of the eye candy!

There's a secondary creature living on those tubes, looks like a feather duster.

that purple with a green rings is strange ....it is not an acan ehinata for sure nor lord.... polyps ar way bigger than any favias i have but i can recall seen a big ones in ppls tanks ....
the second one with the red body green ring and blue eye ...my best guess is "somekindofanacan" but i have seen many and this one is just so different from all....btw i laughted the moment i saw it at doctor Macs site as acan lord i just swallowed it all happy

Yes,
Whatever it is, its beautiful. I'm guessing that the second IS some kind of Favid, but maybe of the less common genera. Guess I'll have to go to the Coralsearch page & look at them all, and the mussids too. Maybe I can find an approximate match for your coral. My own Scoly does look like that, but of course, its a single polyp..

Take care,
Matthew
