Thanks Richard, that's very nice of you. However, if I do go crazy and buy corals, I can check a box as luggage as long as TSA gets a look inside first. Shipping ends up being the same in that it goes in the cold section of the plane, so in my case it would be a few hours and in the quarantine tank a little more quickly than having to deal with shipping on Monday.

Well, I just got to get a good pic of mine, but its not as nice as your blue one Marc. Its still one of my faves though. Now to figure out photobucket ( I just cleaned the tank & did my water change today) & get a DECENT pic.

yes, Matt it is very similar, they both are gorgeous! I'll try and post some comparison picks later on

similar...if you look at the "Pot of Gold" the center eyes are Gold, hence the name "Pot of Gold" with a rainbow colored outer ring, whereas the "Babys Breath" centers are pink/purple with the characterisitic baby blue outer ring...both pieces are amazing! take a look at these links for a more detailed comparison

FYI...a 2 polyp frag of the "Pot of Gold" just auctioned for $116.50 on Tyree's site

Seems that this has been discussed before Kev, more than likely is just different lighting that intensifies a certain characteristic more dominantly over the other. May be a natural result depending on type of UV? Ive seen a handfull of that have the same gold/green center with pink outer ring, alot of them in this thread! :lol:

I didn't follow the prior discussions regarding the morphology...good looking out but a different morph of the same coral is cool too. Ultimatefrags.org has them for sale under 2 different names, regardless, one of the coolest favia out there

Kev, so yours is a Pot o' Gold? LOL. This could get as wild as the Zoa Forum! Anyway, its drop dead gorgeous.
I'm guessing these are all the same species with some subtle color differences.

Ive got the Babys Breath and the pot of gold. The BB came from Jose Casas and the POG came directly from Greg. I can say they are VERY different corals. Definately NOT the same...
