wishntoboutside,
Nice colony you got there! another sicky! between you and Alex this thread just got bumped up another few notches :)

I made an interesting observation yesterday, I just started to feed my favia's frozen cylopeeze last week and in a matter of that time the color shift in my favia's is very impressive, they have gone from colorful to super colorful! I am sure some of you already knew this but I am quite happy to stumble upon it ;)

Thank You very much, I just had the idea, everyone including yourself has contributed to this wonderful thread. I remeber not too long ago that the Favia aka brain/moon corals were pretty bland in general, who knew that we would be crossing paths with so many beautiful colorations and morphs that we do today! I love it, keep em coming!

Bad pics, sweet coral! Just had to sell this colony (running out of room), but kept a couple polyps:

My two different "war corals":

I have to take some more, better pics.

SWEET corals all you guys (gals)!!!

Yowza! :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:
This thread has picked up so much steam I no longer feel a need to cheerlead for it. Instead of dying, I'm now having to jog to keep up:rollface:

Kevin:
Mine is looking real good, but I cannot get a DECENT pic. I had several last week, but pics in a 36gal bowfront are proving hard to get ( plus I went caving, etc. on my vacation). Anyone have some tips?

Matthew

i asked a few days ago what its name was but people told me that unless I bought it from tyree its not. I guess he owns the ocean now never mind all those great corals. But seriously...I tought it might be a babies breath but no confirmation.

Just an update of the same coral I'm going to post until you guys tell me to get lost. This was a top down shot of my favorite favia taken today.

And here's an acan, just to cause massive confusion.

It is under a 400w Radium in a LuminBrite reflector. I think it's getting enough. Are you trying to get me to cook my coral? Was that some kind of hint?
