well hugo, aka snipersps and jose casas are throwing a barbeque/swap this weekend. some one will be going home with a few keepers for sure. lol

Thanks for the compliments Underwaterparadise! Richard, I really like the blue favia I was thinking of a name & all I could come up with was. "Oceans Blue Favia" also, that 2nd green & red favia, looks like one I got from Jendub, very nice coloration!

seems I have found the optimum spot in my tank to bring out their best colors, low, low and lower ;)

I have mine almost shaded! Im sure if I were to take a PAR measurement there would be next to no "usable" light. I left a monti frag next to some of my prism favias for a few days, and next thing I know its browned out on me....few inches back towards the light, and within a week the monti gained back color.

Hey Richard,
Any definite conclusions on the identity of you Supermodel? That aside, that is one killer blue Favia. I love it!

Sheol, still no idea on the supermodel. my opinion of it varies day by day. i am cuting a few frags and bringing them to a swap this weekend we will see what the jury them thinks.lol. regardless its a beauty. mr tryee was supposed to come by last week and canceled at last min. that was my last hope on a good id.

kev, that was a great shot for sure.

rob, thanks for the compliments i am sure the next time we see eachother will be doing some great trading, where in the heck did you find the neon one. so much hope on it.

Richard, can you post some more pictures of the blue favia that you posted yesterday, I am really starting to love that one :)

Richard, let me know the next time you come my way! I'd take a frag of that beauty any day. Or that killer blue.. You know it looks like it might be to big in your aquarium! LOL

Thanks Richard, I have had the neon one for almost a year now and it just glows. looks like one of those glow stick's..............hmmm "glow stick" favia?? hahahaha

The other glows as well but is green VS yellow on the other piece.

Even when your not even looking or trying to, the perfect names just smack you in the face like that! Even better when you can watch the epiphony unfold before your eyes

And so it was written, hereby decreaing Underwaterparadise's yellow favia as the "Glowstick Favia"...And it was good.

A beautifull piece and a must have for the faviid collector! Fell in love when I first saw it in bookfish's online mag then not but a day later pookstreet posted his beauty. Amazing coral for sure!

...And Glowstick is accepted by all, so ever after this will be the "Glowstick Favia" Maybe an LE? <G>

I got my Blood Red Favia finally, but in my 10,000K angled tank it looks brown. I may have to move it into my 280g reef to get a nice picture of the red I was promised.

I felt horrible since Friday, and skipped our frag swap today. The vendor brought my coral to the event to give it to me finally, and I was at home trying to not die. (Okay, that's an exaggeration, but I felt pretty crappy) The club president called me up, told me he gave it to another club member who dropped it off when he got back into this area.

I'll post pictures at some point, but for now it isn't all that interesting.
