Sometimes people don't sell things with lineage and name all jacked up price wise 
...I just sold a 3+ polyp Babie's Breath frag (with lineage) in a frag pack for $55...and when you factor in the freebie nice acro I threw in as well it ended up being $44...sooooo, deals can be had

Kenny, that favia is super nice, I love the metallic effect fo the mouths. I agree with Kevin, keep the favia pics rolling.
Sang, let's see some shots with that new camera of your. I am off to get a shutter remote as I have the same problem slight blurriness to many of my shots. I need to start using the tripod as well.
sailfish2, that looks a lot like a Prism Favia. Mine fell upside down in the sand recently and went unnoticed by me for over a week...3/4 of it is toasted...it will come back, but I was sad.

Here is one I picked up at a Dallas TX fish store cheap.It was bleached out and now it has colored up very nice .

Thanks hope your makes a come back. Mine was sold to me as a prism from a local store that imports direct from Aus.
abereefur "it does have the same coloration of a prism favia, but i see different structure. a very very nice piece anyways. its sad what happened to your prism favia. they are such beautiful corals. good thing they are relatively fast growers"
Thanks it has colored up better than I could have imagined. As stated above it was and I believe it is a prism.

Metaor shower is what he called it. It’s a little dull but I am sure it will brighten up as it settles in.
I just had to get this one very cool.

Great pieces sailfish, I wouldntve been able to resist either!
Finally mounted mine in some inconspicuous spots. Just simply amazing how these corals can morph, my blue and pink Pink Buster is some crazy purples,glittery greens, and peachy and pink colored mouths right now
like a whole different coral..-Justin

Got this one 2 weeks ago from the LFS. they had it in their display tank till they decided to tear it up for relocation. It was there for months and had lost around a quarter of it's living tissue when they first got it. it lost another quarter when they moved it to this tank and if I remember correctly it didn't have that much red in it. can anyone ID it for me and inform me about what flow and light to put it in. Its now under medium high lighting,(top of the tankbetween 2 150 W 14 K halides. but soon I will be getting a 250 W 20 K to sit in the middle of the tank so it should even get more ilght by then. flow on it is medium for now as I didn't know for sure if it needs higher flow. Any info about requirements: flow, light, feeding and ID would be greatly appreciated. Also do you think it could regrow to cover the half dead area or should I cut it off somehow?
I have seen one like that on the Coral ID website. Actually, it looks like a Montastrea with the 2 contrasting colors. Nice..
MY LFS has several Favia left to choose from, but I'm currently worried about a couple of things in my tank ( lost 2 colonies to recession recently. Also, algae troubles. I think phosphates are up but I don't have a test kit for that. Anyway, water change time..!)
