My favia recovery.

Well after a few weeks, the flesh part still hasn't colored back up, but the center part that's green has BRIGHTENED UP a lot more. So much that it is green in the blue LED. B4 it was feignt.

I have a few. Favias have kinda become my new fav coral. I was interested in Chalices, but I kinda like the variation of favias better. Let's see if this works.

It's in the front. Don't have a good pic so I'll try again. It's green with red centers. Looks much better than the pic.

This one was sold as a "wormhole favia". It's baby blue/purple with green along the outside. Probably my fav coral right now.

And this one is the obligatory war. I guess it's two tone. I thought all wars were, but it appears I'm wrong. Don't know much about them.

I showed you a really crappy pic of it. You said you had something similar. Don't trip, I got you covered...

Thanks Mark, I have one for you too down the line ;)

Hello?

<-----Tripping quite significantly! Ian, buddy, 'o pal 'o mine ;)

ReeferPnoy: That is the same species as my Mint/Choclate one. Is that the War Coral'? I'm going to have to move mine lower in the tank tonight, the creepy mushrooms are starting to effect it. I'll not lose this coral! BTW, I mean the bottom pic.
JRL: Geaux Tigers! I graduated from LSU circa 1987..
Nice pices everyone, we've made this thread into an immortal!

Yes it is Sheol.. thanks...I have it low as well...

Its on the sand bed now, hopefully in time. There is some bleaching on the edges that were under the Discomas. I hope I can revive them & not have to cur 'em off. Its a hefty colony, btw. I know that old pic doesn't too it justice. Maybe now its lower I'll get more red.
I suppose I'll also have to spot feed now..
Pookstreet: Man, is that a nice one. Have we seen it before? Or is it a new acquistion?

Matthew

Thanks Matthew. It's not new in the sense that I just picked it up, but this is the first time I've posted pix of it. It's been in the tank for about 4-6 months. I never noticed the inner ring within the coralites until I took some macro shots. I love surprises
