Just picked up this gigantic colony. Already been through the tile saw and made a 5x4 piece for my display a 5x3 piece for someone else and a bunch of frags.

Pretty neat colouring pattern hopefully it will get more intense. At least this is one I don't really have to worry about mounting so that it grows!

Just put it under my 400s too soon. Should have acclimated it slower but instead I burned off the entire top before I realized what was happening. With the light mover I get spoiled and usually I can put almost anything under it with no issues. But low in a T5 tank for weeks to right under 400s is gonna hurt every time. It started to go but then thankfully stopped with 2/3 of the colony intact. Shouldnt take too long to recolonize the dead/damaged areas I hope.

Meisen: Yow. That was a close call. The part in the pic doesn't look too bad. I had to save my brown & teal one from Rhodactis 'shrooms. It got burned in a couple of spots. Its back on the sandbed now. Looking better..

Nice Prism Favia QueenOfTheReef. Looks like you may want to shade it just a bit. You'll get better color, and more color tones.
