i have a few vertical ledges that get good flow but are under a ledge. i have an Aquatinic Tx 5 in my 75. what would be a nice coral to put i a lower light situation?zoas shrooms tell me what you would put in that situation. Pictures are always nice to

I have a have bubble coral that is halfway under a ledge. I feed it every day, it is a monster. Maybe Ill post a picture later after I feed it, that is when it is fully expanded.

You have a good light so it should work for you.

Sun corals naturally grow upside down under ledges in the wild -- they don't need light, and if you have good flow moving around them they'll be able to catch foods at feeding time.

Fox corals are beautiful (that's a fox in my avatar) and need very little light. Similar to bubble corals they need medium to light amounts of flow -- LPS don't like being blasted -- and can handle living under a ledge quite nicely.

thank you everyone for you input. i have a few lps's. how about a meat coral or a button coral. sorry i don't know the scientific names

Meats & buttons need some light. If some light is getting to that area of the tank, you can keep those. If the area is completely shaded, sun corals & chili corals will be your best option. I prefer chili corals as they are easy to keep for most beginners. The other shade loving corals have poor track records because they tend to need more diligent husbandry.
