Favorite Trigger and why?

I just put a Sargassum trigger in my tank and he's the coolest fish ever. Very nice to the other fish, doesn't bother the corals, constantly swims in the open, and just looks happy to be alive.

I plan a FOWLR tank soon, so let me know of ANY trigger that's as cool as mine.

Those you have big clown triggers know they are some of the coolest fish! My vote definitely goes for Balistoides conspicillum!!!

Balistoides viridscens. Can't really keep it, but an awesome fish nonetheless.

As far as more common (and more manageable) triggers go, mine would have to be Odonus niger. It was the second fish I ever had and so has a dear place in my list of favorite fish.

Crosshatch (Xanthichthys mento)

They look great, are reef safe, and are available as pairs.

Same here!

To bad they cost so much. :(

Heres my old pair, I felt they looked too big in my 360 after a while and sold them to a local with 1000 and 750 gal systems.

They were great tankmates and never bothered inverts.
