Im gonna hit the reefpets auctions this week and snag a bunch of sps. My question is for you long timers what are your favorite species of acros and why?

I see the physical attraction with the PM but if it doesnt grow what is the point. I just read a post were two really experienced guys stated that they got a few inches growth in a few years. UHHHHGG......that would frustrate me.

I don think I've ever seen a full grown PM.....

.......+1, most people experience a crash or somehow lose the piece WAY before it matures into a full colony, most people just have nubby ecrusting going on......

Tyree Bali tri color.
It always seems like the noname ones have really nice attributes too. I have 2 "nonames" and they are the nicest looking
and for brightness Shawn Bennett yellow tort. This thing is at least twice as bright as any other coral I have seen!

i dont think reefpets has the mentioned corals for auction on a regular basis. i think the majority of them are maricultured colonies broken down into colonies. i could be wrong though. they do have nice pieces though

They have the acros listed by species most of the time.

Second on the Millis.....Like a bit of movement that they do provide with their 'hairs'.....

its over now. I ended up picking up some choice sps pieces from fellow forum reefer instead of the auctions. Im gonna take a look at what they ended up at and see if im bummed i didnt jump on those too lol
