Favourite Tang

It's really hard to beat a Yellow Tang. I do love the Achilles, Sohal, and Clown as well. And the powders. But I couldn't imagine NOT having a Yellow, always!

It's all about the scopas tangs. Dumb as a box of rocks, but they're graceful and their pattern is subtle and awesome.

Here is my newly acquired little Chevron. He is my favorite Tang but I only have one. I am curious how long it keeps its juvi color.

Achilles are awesome too, but I've had to many friends try and they usually croak. Ich magnets I tell ya, also the PBT, ich magnet.

Kole tang for me as well. It looks and behaves funny, don't bother other fish, grow slowly and it's not huge when adult like some other tangs. And who can say no to a face like this:)

Favorite Ever is World Wide Corals, White Tang.Favorite I've ever kept would be the Yellow Tang, it would eat strait out of my hand, Swim all over my arms when I was working in the tank, it would eat out of the palm in my hand.I nearly cried when I lost it in a crash.I haven't owned another tang since, but I have a Adult Mimic Tang on order at my LFS, so we will see.

I too have a mimic tang coming in from a lfs. I really like the mimic tangs. I also like most of the bristle toothed tangs.

Wow, that dussumieri is lovely. I hope I spelled that right!

I have a kole and love the look of it, but it's a terror. My favorite tang is the Pacific Sailfin. Blonde Naso a close second, because it eats dictyota.

Wow, that may be one of my new favorite, can you give some info.

I have following along, My favorite is the powder blue, but I am afraid to put one in my 90 gallon bc of the size. I really like the mimic tang that color change from juvenile to adult seem like an awesome thing to see happen.

Great fish with great personality. Unfortunately a 90 will be too small. As a matter of fact my 8 foot 300 gallon may be too small in a couple of years. Bought him pale green in color and starving about 4". After a few weeks, started to fatten up and then began to color with age. I've had him almost two years now. He's about 7" and will grow to greater than a foot. Eats everything from PE mysis, pellets to nori. He is the boss of the tank........I'm really not sure if it's a "he".
