Favourite thing in aquarium

I'm sure everyone on here has a fish or other creature or coral that is your favourite thing in there. My new favourite is my small but stunning Maxima clam. Before that was added last Friday it was my acan.
Whats other people's faves?

Mine is my scoly I rescued. Went into my LFS who had a very sick looking warpaint scoly. It's flesh had receeded so over half the skeleton was showing. I asked what he wanted for it, and was told it was from a tank teardown and he didn't think it would make it. he gave it to me for 5$. Fast forward 2 years and it's still alive, 3 times the size it was, and is a nice specimen now.

Showed my LFS a recent picture and he offered to buy it back for 200$.

Had to post a photo from tapatalk. Much easier then an external site, or uploading to this site.

This guy; Only marine betta I ever head that actual swims around the tank during the day and doesn't constantly hide. It actually got lot bigger since this picture.

Gorgeous Betta, are you keeping it with smaller reef fish? I'm on the fence about getting one, don't want it to eat my wrasses/gobies.

The smallest fish betta is with is black cap basslet. There is also a leopard wrasse with it. But it shows no interest to neither fish. In nature they are shrimp eaters rather than fish eaters, so IMO the risk marine bettas present to other fish is minimal. Some stores feed small freashwater fish to their marine bettas since it is easy and cheap, that might create some issue later on. But unless you get a one that is trained to hunt fish, it should be alright.

Mine also doesn't show any interest to cleaner shrimp, but I am sure it would eat any smaller shrimp (as it goes wild if it sees an amphipod).

The biggest issue with these fish are they are very shy and do not easily accept nothing but prepared foods. It took me months to wean mine on frozen and pellet food. And even now it doesn't really like pellet food, it wont eat pellets if I feed frozen that day.

Love my diamond back goby
He is busy engineering his underwater lair all day, then closes the entrance at night, then opens every morning....the thing is brilliant
