Feather (Coconut Worm) Leaving..

I bought a week ago a Feather "Coconut Worm" and is tube is huge ... Like 1 feet and really really hard like a branch..

But i don't know why, he keep going out of is tube "walking" in my sand bed... I put him back in is tube.. and guest what... Yep... he leave against...

Why he keep doing this ?

A feather duster who doesn't get enough flow or gets too much flow will relocate and build another tube else where like an anemone. I never seen mine do it and very rarely (these last few threads actually..) have I heard of this actually happening. Put him back in his tube (and be careful not to stress him as they'll shed crowns) and relocate him to a lower/higher water flow area.. and target feed him some filter feeding food and maybe he'll be happy and stay put.

What do you mean by "some filter feeding food" ?

Im french, it's "filter" that i don't understand, like filtering frozen food ?

Sorry I don't know what filter means in your langauge,

Just spray a little near it and it might stay in one spot knowing it's finding food there.
