Feather duster crown cam off

I put mine in the sand....the guy at my LFS said if you put them in the rocks....you will never get them out.

I usually put mine under a small rock so it has something to attatch too. No problems.

i have had a FD from hawai'i for a lil over 2 years now. it has lost its crown 2 times now and it seems to be around the same time of the year both times. i do feed it phyto every now and then but not in any pattern.

Seriously though my feather duster's crown came back out today. It is a giant Hawiaan, feeding it Kent Phytoplex - pyhtoplankton.
