feather duster in new live rock???

just put rock in my new fowler 90..one piece of rock appears to have what looks like the base or root of a feather duster.....is there a chance of this commin back to life????? If so...what should i do to promote this....In terms of light, and flow....direct or indirect of each??? I am capable of ample flow (2 ecotech pumps) and my light is a VHO t5...........any thoughts would be appreciated

There's no telling. He could have abandoned his home. Inside a feather duster lives a worm. If he didn't make it he already fell out. But if there is a chance he's still in there he can rejuvinate. Just keep up good water quality. If he is missing his head "the feather duster" part he can't capture food.
