hi
i know how the small dusters that come in on live rock can multiple like crazy
can the same effect be done with the larger ones, and how many would i need to do this?
thanks

I have one large one and it seems to have produced one baby.

That said, I have not read threads about people being able to breed the big ones.

Best of luck,

Roy

Many of the small species reproduce asexually or brood the larvae in their tubes until they're old enough to crawl out & start their own. That means they don't have a planktonic stage which gets eaten or caught by filters and why they can mutiply so quickly. the bigger species tend to produce planktonic larvae - I wouldn't expect them to reproduce in a non-specialized tank.

Hey guys my tank is currently cycling, but i noticed a lot of feather dusters.... should i feed them?? or what should i do? and what to feed them if needed.

Thank you
