Feather Duster Question

I noticed that my feather duster had ejecter its "feather". This does mean its dead? I just had a big move. Not sure if I stressed it out or what.

in my experience, they will sometimes drop the feather and it will regrow in a week or so

Probably a sign of stress, but they can grow back their crown.
