Feather duster worm placement??

I have 3 that are all very happy and showing signs of growing. Two are in my rock work anchored into crevices. The 3rd lies on the sandbed with the rear portion of its tube under a rock overhang.
As long as there is adequate waterflow that isn't directly on them and enough food to filter out of the watercolumn they should be happy wherever they are placed.
