I just picked up some less than perfect live rock from a local dude..
It has feather dusters?, but the tubes look like well, fish poo. Not hard at all. Are they feather dusters or something else? Will their casing harden?
It also has a good bit of algae on it.
I am debating between going the "cooking" route and just throwing in some hermits/snails and letting them go to town.
I have also found a mystery anemone or two. Kind of looks like aiptasia, but its not, I'll have to wait to look at it some more.
Pictures would be good now that I think about it. Hmm. Give me ideas in the meantime if you have any- I'll work on the pics this weekend when I have an SC card reader
