featherdusters and feeding clams

Hello,

I recently acquired a clam it is about 3 inches. I currently have about 5 large colonies of minature featherdusters that just came with my live rock. When I first placed the rocks in the tank there were none, now there are lots, the tank has been set up for about 2 years now. Do I need to dose DT"S or does the clam feed on the same items that is making the featherdusters grow in my tank? Thanks

Hi wildcat, With a clam that small you still should feed it a couple of times a week. DT's seems to work the best, but others will have their own opinions on what to use. Try them all and see what works for you. And yes they are filter feeders the same as your feather dusters.
