February MTRC Meeting!

What: Family Night for MTRC Members at the Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville (Opry Mills)!
When: Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM

The Aquarium Restaurant is rolling out the red carpet for us. The adult dinner menu ranges from approximately $10 to $25, and the kids menu ranges from $5 to $7. We'll have dinner by the 200,000 gallon aquarium and then will have a back stage tour of how they run the tanks (huge skimmers, quarantine tanks, water changes, etc -- very cool). Across the hall from the restaurant is Stingray Reef. Entry into Stingray Reef will be free for MTRC members, and you and/or your kids can pet the stingrays! You can also purchase food for $2 a tray to feed the stingrays and watch them eat.

The Aquarium Restaurant has waived the fee for the tour, and for entry to Stingray Reef. I plan on bringing my wife and kids. This will be a great time to get together and have some family fun

Please let me know if you plan on coming and how many, so they can be ready with a big enough block of tables and such.

Superbowl Sunday is the week before (Feb 3).

I will be comming but may be a little late the kids are with there mom and I can pick them up at 5 in the boro so save me a spot. A large spot for all 6 of us.

Some of the marine biologists from the Aquarium Restaurant came yesterday. A nice bunch of folks!

I found couple of those coupons during the cleanup last night and stuck them in my pocket for this dinner....so, I should have a couple extras if someone needs one.

I'll be there with the wife and my 3 girls. My friend and there kids would like to tag along they currently have a freshwater tank but are wanting to go salt.

Not 100% confirmed. But I might be there with my brother and nephew. As far as the Stingray Reef...only the MTRC members are free and not the guests? Lookin' forward to it as I've never been. As far as Opry Mills goes, I never made it past Dave and Busters... :lol:
