Fedex didn't deliver till after 9 PM

My fiance bought me a blue tortusa last week, 5/15, and fedex didn't deliver till after 9 P.M. On 5/16. The coral is doing fine, but i want to place another order and don't want this to happen again, as it is getting hot here in AZ. My zip code is 86401, and i think the closest fedex station is about 45 minutes away. What can we do to prevent this next time I order?

I think the closest fedex facility that i can pick up from is an hour drive away.
