Feed cycle Query .. Updated

I've resubmitted this question after more careful assesment of the situation.....

I have 2 6100 stream pumps connected to a single controller (7091) via a 7092.34 Y adaptor. The 7091 contoller is set at power1=100% Power2=50% Pulse=50%. When I press the timer button the pump on led is off, the power1 & power2 led alternates, but when the power1 led is lit, both pumps activate ( at a seemly lower output than set ), when power2 is lit the pump turns off as expected, after the timed interval the pumps return to the expected function..

Is there an obvious fault with the setup?

I know that about 6 months ago we found a quirk with the branch adapters and the Streams that some current could bleed through and give the pumps a small amount of power. You might see what the function is like for one pump without the branch adapter and only the controller. If it is the branch adapter the problem was resolved shortly after it was discovered by a change to the branch adapter. If it is not the branch adapter it may be a problem with the single controller or the driver but I suspect it is the branch adapter.

Yep, must be the Y connection, I took it out of circuit and the single controlled 6100 behaved as expected..

How do I make sure that the replacement is working satisfactory before purchase, are there batch numbers I can quote to my supplier here in the UK ( I bought from Paraquatics.co.uk ).

I've had the unit 2 weeks.

I think it should be a simple matter for them to resolve, I know Gary is going to Germany for Interzoo and he can just bring it with him to be exchanged. See if he can replace it with one he recieved very recently, production dates are on stickers inside the units.
