Feedback on Comline skimmer 3110/2 please.

Roger or anyone,

Could I get some feedback/ info on the comline skimmer 3110/2. I am interested in using this skimmer for a 29g mixed reef.

1. How is its performance for this type of application. I love the Tunze products just not familiar with this piece.

2. Is it designed for in tank or sump use or both?

3. Is there a minimum amount of water it must be submersed into to operate?

3. Any other comments welcomed.

First, it will be replaced in a couple months by the 9002 and a new combination filter skimmer that includes the magnet holder called the Nano Reef Pack 200.

They work very well and are quiet I don't think any small skimmer except the Remora and Precision Marine HOT rank on the same levl in performance. Those two might be a little better but they are also larger and more expensive. It needs 8" of water, so it can work in sump or tank.
