I just wanted to touch base with some PMASI members and ask about their experience level and interests in the hobby. I would like to get an idea of topics that will interest members and plan workshops that will help our members. We have gotten an influx of new members and want us to be able to tailor our meetings to remain relevant to our membership body. Thank you for helping us grow as an organization.

I am a beginner- and I would really be interested in learning about dosing and balancing parameters- and Lighting types and best practices.

Definitely would like to know about what I can do to be more successful with SPS- can't seems to keep them at all....

Sump designs, the why's and how's, working with acrylic, diy fish food

+1 on working with acrylic/grass

How to cut and make stuff out of glass and acrylic. sumps, baffles for sumps, auto top off tank, etc.

Thank you all for your input.

As always if anyone has any specific questions I and other people are certainly open to answering questions at the monthly meetings.

I would also suggest going out to eat after the meetings (thats where the real BSing happens :D)

Definitely a + to Drone's! I can't for the life of me figure out how to tune my AI prime- nothing seems to thrive under it at all.

+1 to led technology. Also a discussion on the different sump drains, durso, bean animal ect...the advantages and limitations.

Cool. Hey Kevin, why don't you go research that a bunch and give us an hour presentation.

I am planning an acrylic workshop for our September meeting. I am thinking we could build a few coral viewing boxes. I will be going to visit one of our members next week to build myself a new acrylic sump, but that will take a bit longer than a meeting would permit.

My head's still spinning just from reading the articles that I posted!

I do have another topic though..... :D

How about the Triton method and variations thereof?

Kevin
