feeding a bta to get the color back

So I recently purchased a GBTA online...
arrived quite bleached out but otherwise healthy.
Seems to be pretty happy with the spot it's found in the tank but still is pretty bleached....I have a 150w halide hanging right above it and it kinda hides out 1/2 in the light/ 1/2 not in the light so light's not an issue. Flow is appropriate as well...

Wondering 2 specific ?'s about feeding:

How often should I feed it if I'm really trying to get the color back?
I know the usual I've heard it every 3 days or 2x a week but should it be less/more to help it get color etc.... back????

What's the best combination of food? Especially when trying to get it back healthy/get the color back????
Right now I've been doing 1/3rds or 1/4's of silversides and occassionally small pieces of shrimp. The tank also gets frozen mysis and cyclopleeze for the rest of it's tank mates...

Silversides should be good. I'm sure most BTA's will even take small krill, mysis, and any other small meaty food really. You can even try soaking the foods in Zoecon, or whatever other nutrient/vitamin supplement prior to feeding and I'm sure that will help. As for how often, that will depend on the anemone you have. I think starting at two times per week, or every three days or so is a good baseline. Maybe even three times a week. But it all depends again on the anemone in particular and the tank situation.
