Feeding a Kole Tang

I have a 75-gal (100 gallon total w/sump) softie/lps/fish tank, and just inherited a Kole Tang due to a tank leak. I am confident that I have enough swimming room for him for now, but am curious what to feed him? I have read several opinions which brings me to the question. Can someone educate me on the how's and what's to feed a Kole Tang? Currently the bioload is very small in that I have a few gobies, a clown, six-line, and a CB shrimp.

Thanks for the help.

What was it eating before you got it . That is where I would start . I have one about 4" and it eats anything that hits the water and does a real good job of grazing on rocks and glass at other times .

like most tangs, mine enjoys to graze at the strips of seaweed that I attach to the glass with a vegie clip. any book I have ever read highly suggest the use of different types of seaweed as a staple in their diet. Plus, offering strips of seaweed allow your tang to feed through out the day as they would on the reef.
