feeding acan and challice

I got these two guys saturday and i have not been able to feed these frags because they have not let out feeder tenticles. I also got a green acan when i got these and it released its feeding tenticles already. Is there some thing wrong with the lord and the challice?

Just give it some time. You will be wishing for the tenticles to not come out later.

are you trying to feed them in day timee?
look at your tank at night and youll most def see some sweepeers or tenticles

I second, mine actually prefer early morning around 6am. When I get home from work they are all out like crazy more than at night.

I would just give it some time to settle into your tank, don't worry just yet.

in my experience any challice takes a while to put out feeders. acans usually put them out almost immediately. but in cases where this just wasnt happening i simple turned off all flow and applied mysis directly onto the mouth. even without feeders it happily gobbled it up.

turn off the light, let the room be completely dark for an hour or two. Then you will see the sweepers on the acan. If they arent out, let it be dark for another 30 min or so.

I fed the challice when i woke up at 2 this morning. I couldnt go back to sleep, so i grabbed a flash light and saw it feeders, but i didnt see any of the acans feeders
