Feeding after a few days away...

Hi

I have a 90 litre tank with two scooters, two clowns, a midas blenny and a purple firefish.
We've been away for 10 days, friend fed them half way through and I have fed them today just one cube of frozen brineshrimp.

My question is should I give them some more today or not...reason I ask is that all the food on rocks has been grazed and there's nothing left so not sure how long it's been since they ate before today's feeding....They do all however look really healthy and swimming normally.....
Any advice would be appreciated :-)

Feed them as many times as you would like without causing water quality issues... I feed 4-6 times a day minimum.

A healthy fish can go awhile without being fed assuming it doesn't have specific dietary needs like mandarins, seahorses, some butterflies, etc. That said...I feed my fish about as much as I can because they're probably grazing most of the day in the ocean. As long as you can maintain good water chemistry, why not feed more?

Awesome thanks, I'm just worried as we have lost a few shrimp to spikes in water quality which can be traced to me overfeeding but literally the rocks are clean! It's their bedtime now so first thing tomorrow I'll give them a feed and add some copepods and living brineshrimp later?

Just feed as much as they can consume in 2 mins or so and you should avoid water quality issues. If nitrates rise then you need to add to your biological filtration capacity
