Feeding clown fish fry rotifers question

I was planning on starting a rotifer culture and was wondering when I pour the rotifers through the sieve, can I just pour the green water(phytoplankton) back into the bucket? Also would a gallon of cultured rotifer water sieved be too many rotifers for clown fish fry?

I never reused the water, it was my opportunity to do a water change for the culture. The amount of rotifers will depend on the tank size. You are looking for 5 to 15 rotifers per ml of water.

Density in your larval tank, not in the rotifer culture. 5-15 per mL in a rotifer culture is extremely low.
