Determining how much to feed depends on what stage of development the fish are in. Younger fish of a species will need to be fed more often, while mature adults or older specimens of the same species won't need to fed fed as often as the youngsters. This is because the young fish are using a good chunk of the energy they get from food to grow, which takes up quite a bit of the energy consumed. How big/old are the two clownfish you have? Two to three feedings per day will work well in most cases IMO.
Awhile back I had gotten a pair of darwin ocellaris from a breeder that were less than an inch long, at that size I was feeding them 4 or 5 times per day, but small feedings each time. They quickly grew to an inch and a half or so in a couple of months. I backed off to two or three feedings at that point.
