Feeding Clownfish

Hello Everyone,

I have read the FAQ about feeding clown fish. I understood that feeding brine shrimp is not the best and should use Mysis shrimps.
Last Sunday I purchased two clown fish. They are doing well but try feeding them mini Mysis shrimps and will not eat them. I feed them brine shrimps and they eat them. The brine shrimp I purchased is in the green foil that has the alge they need. I forgot the name but starts with a "S". Do you guys have any suggestions to get them to switch over? Is it OK to keep them on Brine Shrimp if they don't eat Mysis Shrimp? Is there a brand of brine shrimp that you highly recommend? Btw, they are ORA breed Clowns. Thanks for the help in advance.

When you got them? Try some pellets soaked in selcon, or flakes.

Sunday 8/2/09. They wouldn't touch flakes or pellets either.

try some garlic on there food they will go nuts for it

I do that always when I feed my fishes. They started to eat after the 3rd day. They like the Ocean Nutrition Formula 1.
