feeding corals

Totally over it
Ok guys...feeding my softies was easy. I've heard Frogspawn needs to be target fed? I've given it brine shrimp today, but I know that holds pretty much little to no nutritional value. What else can I feed it? Mysis was one that someone mentioned. Anything else that would be good for it? Also, I do feed phytoplankton for my softies. What else can I feed all my corals. I have zoas, Palys, frogspawn, candy canes, toadstool leather, Xenia, Kenya tree, colt and GSP. Anything else in that list need target feeding?

I feed mine mysis and homemade food mixture.. they seem to like and hold onto mysis really well...

The candy canes will eat the mysis also.

the only corals that i have that i've seen actively feed are bubble coral, favia, and candy canes. everything else seems to do just fine with light.

Ginger,

I wouldn't bother feeding any of the corals you listed. Just feed your fish. There are few corals that truly need to be fed.

When you over feed your tank, you risk increasing your nitrate and phosphate - which may result in more nuisance algae.

ginger i have never spot fed my frog spawn its doing just fine. i dont target any of my coral. i do however drop amino acid into the tank they seem to LOVE that

With the one singular, lonely Frogspawn I have in the nano, I have found it to respond to cyclopeeze.
