Feeding fish: octopus

Ok. I just wasn't coming across anyone feeding them octopus tentacles. My market sells raw cubed octopus cubes. (Not preserved of course...) they didn't have squid today. So, I'm feeding the fish this for now. :)

As a general rule, all human-grade meats with no preservatives are fish-safe. Many veggies are good as well. Seafoods of most kinds are good staple-type foods.

My cowfish is a slow eater, so I typically add rotate a piece of thawed raw octopus, squid ring, clam, or shrimp to a seaweed clip everyday. The cowfish and cleaner wrasse love it and will pick at it throughout the day...I'll remove what's left at night.

one of the primary ingredients in my last batch of homemade frozen blend was Spanish Octopus tentacle. My puffer, tusk, angels, and tangs all love it.
