feeding frogspawn and other euphyllia

just wondering what, how and time of day or night everyone feeds there euphyllia. I saw another post on this site where someone claimed that euphyllia don't eat at all they are strictly photosynthetic, which I believe to be false. does anyone target feed or do they just drop food in the water.

In all the years I've had mine, I've never given it anything. I guess it's possible that they may pick up cyclopeez or mysis when I feed the tank.

I've had them thrive for years without target feeding and when i did try they never seamed to latch onto anything and actual consume it.

feeding them just makes them grow faster. i feed mine because i have so many sps that demand feeding so its easier that way.

When i feed mine it shrinks for a day or two then opens back up. I feed it every two weeks. i do this with my torch also

I have fish who like cyclopeeze and mysis. Having a lot of bristleworms also helps. THey break down crud so the corals can absorb it.

When I feed my bta, I often take little tiny pieces of silversides and try to see what will eat them.

The other day I broke off a little tiny piece and stuck it down by my frog.

It grabbed it in almost the same way the BTA did. Just curled it's tentacles around it and sucked it down by it's mouth.

mine catches mysis and also seems to enjoy the taste of my flesh.

my torch as well. any food i feed it, the food never stick to its tenticles. always wonder if it actually consume anything? any idea?

also when i feed my fish with cyclopeeze or phytoplanton, i notice that its tenticles will shorten and swell up. is it feeding on the food like this?

some of the above posters have stated that their's are actually consuming the food particles, i watched mine many times and they always released whatever they trapped and never seamed to ingest any part of it. my torch's were the same so I'm at a loss here on this one.

My frogspawn eats whatever I feed it or whatever falls on it. I have never seen it release the food that it grabs.

Mine never lets food get away. I've seen some of it still there the next day.

My frogspawn appears to eat mysis, the hammers I have grab and release a few minutes later.

My torch ate alot when I first got it. Now its fat and healthy and doesnt seem to want to eat.

My torch seems to like larger pieces (like mysis), but doesn't seem to like smaller stuff (cyclopseez size).
