Feeding Frogspawn

Do I need to feed my frogspawn? How would I go about doing this and what?

turn off all the powerheads and pump. get some mysid or brine shrimp and spray it on the frogspawn. the glue of it's tentacle will catch the shrimp and eat it later. I rarely feed my frospawn because they will catch food when i feed my fishes.

it helps to feed them, I feed mine every other day or so. I feed mysis and finely chopped squid by squirting it into their tentacles. It works great.

I feed my tank with "Rods food" and it has everthing for everyone in my tank.

I tried this, squirting some frozen mysis (thawed before I fed) to my frogspawn and hammer. They seem to like the shrimp but once I turned on my powerheads all but one head lost the shrimp that was in its tentacles. The one that had a piece right by the mouth did eat it.

Should I wait longer before turning the power heads on? Other advice?

I know what your talking about...that's why i leave my pumps off for at least one hour when feeding...

(I also feed my cleaner shrimps FIRST, because they tend to steal the food...hehe)

They seem to take forever to eat.
And I never actually 'see' mine eating, just always letting go of the food once the pumps are back on.

But hey... they grow and grow...

any other opinions? i've read a couple other frogspawn feeding posts...some people don't seem to feed them directly. all i have in my tank is frogspawn, a couple zoo's, and a fire shrimp. i've yet to feed the tank anything and it's been up for maybe 3 months now

They dont really need to eat EaT EAT lol. They're photosynthetic and filter feeder so if you have adequate lighting+water thats not OVERLY CLEAN... then you shouldnt worry too much. But if you want to be sure your thing eats or what not... get some cyclopeeze and squirt some at it.
