Feeding Lords / Dendro Pellets?

i feed my cyclopeeze and mysis due to it's size and that it is meaty. I would personally stay away from pellets but thats me. Not to mention must pellets float whihc would make it hard to spot feed but i do know some sink.

I don't see a problem feeding pellets, but they eat all kind of foods. I personally don't spot feed any of my corals but the dendro. My acan lords don't get direct feeding but as soon as they sense food in the water they open up, I feed clyclopezee at nights after the lights are off from time to time, not regular.

I feed all my LPS pellets. Including Dendros, Duncans and Lords. When I feed pellets, I'll let them sit in a separate container with tank water for about 10 mins. This helps soften them up. I've never had a problem.

I too feed my Dendro and Acans with shrimp pellets. Letting them soak in some tank water for a few minutes helps the floating issue. I also place them directly on the coral with large tank tweezers and then stick around to scare the shrimps away!

I tried to do that to both my lords & dendros. I soaked it in water too. They all took it in but ended up spitting it up later. I would love to be able to feed them pellets but it doesnt work for me. All I get is a tank full of pellet food floating around.

I've fed my bubble corals, lobos, and open brains with pellets with no problems, but my Acan. Lord. doesn't seem to like it. I've been feeding my Acan with crushed Formula One flake food instead.

I feed Formula 1 and 2 small pellets to anything that will take them which, in my tank, includes lords, faviids, blastos, echinatas, duncans, candy canes, palys, and shrooms. I do have a few corals that refuse them. The Formula pellets sink rather than float or suspend and with a little practice, it's real easy to drop them on individual polyps. I also feed Cyclopeeze, mysis, and krill among other things but I really like the pellets for their nutritional profile and convenience. They're also easy to clean up in case I overfeed or drop too many in the sand.

EDIT - Also wanted to mention that I feed right out of the can - no pre soaking.
