feeding my elephant ear

I have been feeding my elephant ear and as it's starting to close up my lovely (Note sacasm) sailfin tang swoops in and eats the food.
I have made sure to put extra food in the tank and the tang still eats the wrong food.

Any suggestions?
Also what do you feed yours?

ugh I feel your pain I feed almost all of my lps and generally ill have to sit there and guard whatever im trying to feed.

Ive got a bold little hippo that acts like hes starving every time I feed.

try feeding 10 mins after the lights go off. it helps when you make your tank completely dark.
