Feeding my fish

I currently feed small NLS pellets and spirulina flakes to my fish. I have cardinals, clownish, yellow tail damsels, green chromis, and CUC. Should I be feeding frozen food as well ?

The larger variety of food you feed the healthier your fish will be

This is what I was feeding back when I had a 60 gallon reef tank, two 50 gallons & one 40 gallon freshwater tank. Being that I only have a couple Ocellaris clownfish in my current 20 gallon tank now, I'm down to about 6 or 7 different types of food, but the fish are spawning on a regular basis.

Don't worry about feeding your CUC btw. They're specifically there to pick up the scraps, not sit down at the table. GL.

That looks like my food supply!

LOL. Half of my freezer is frozen fish food. The rest could either way - shrimp, scallops and clams. I also have 3 flake and 3 pellet varieties.
As I think about it, my fish eat a more varied diet than I do, but then again I am a meat-atarian

Go to Drs Foster and Smith`s site. Then to the fish food section. Any food you choose will have a product page. Look for the "more information" tab for that food. This will give you the list of ingredients for that food. Any food which contains terrestrial plant ingredients like wheat, rice, garlic, cornstarch, is garbage and should not be used. Marine fish cannot digest these foods. Almost all flake and pellet food contains such ingredients and should be tossed. Once you go to a live, fresh, and frozen diet, you will see an improvement in the health of your fish. I know I did.
