Feeding Question?

I got a large zebra moray about a month ago for my 120 and he seems to be doing real well but I have a few questions. What all should I feed him so that he has a well balanced diet? I have been shelling the shrimp I give him, is this a good idea? Would the shell be good/bad for him? I give him chopped squid to. Also are cloudy eyes common with them? I have seen a few others and its seems they all have a cloudiness to there eyes? Normal? Cause? Can it be changed? He was hand feed since he was a baby and i have read that this is not a good habit because one day when he is full grown he might mistake my hand for food when cleaning?
Thanks!

First - get yourself a feeding stick or feeding tongs. You definitely don't want to take the chance of it stricking at your hand by mistake. They do have poor vision. ;) You can offer it a wide variety of seafood; fish flesh, clam meat, squid, scallops. You don't need to peel the shrimp for it. They are invertabrate feeders. Their teeth are specifically designed to crush shells.

I am not familiar with zebras but I used to have a snowflake that I would hand feed shelled shrimp, squid chunks and silversides.
It did occaisionally take hold of my thumb or one of my fingers but when it realized its mistake it always let go and never drew blood.
The safe way to go is a feeding stick, but hand feeding is just plain fun.
