Feeding Question

Not saying I am, but if you were to have a larger lion fish or rock fish or other very large fish and fed it a fish with Ich, would the fish being fed contract Ich or will the Ich just be digested?

Lol. Not sure on the answer but there has to be a story here.

The Story Behind this is I use to have a LionFish and now I have a Ich out break and I was thinking "I wish I could just feed these fish to the LionFish". Also What if the fish with ich was hand fed to the larger fish, Meaning the fish never swims in the water, Just instantly food.

Why would you even risk such a thing? I would never place an ichy fish in my tank, not even as food, even though my LFS told me that the fish that ate the sick one would not get sick also... I just wouldn’t try it... The best thing that I can recommend is running a uv bulb, I run a 55 watt bulb with a 633 gph pump that pumps through my chiller as well and its been doing an amazing job at getting rid of the ich I had in my tank.

I also used copper-safe because i have a fowler set-up.

Don't do it...that's just asking for trouble.

Have you ever had to set up a large hypo tank and keep a sick adult volitans? We have, and running a 65 gal hospital tank is no picnic by any means.
