Feeding regiment for new Aust. Tusk

Hi,

I just recently purchased a gorgeous 5" Aust. Harlequin Tusk from the Diver's Den. He has a voracious appetite and is a very active swimmer. I have been feeding him prawn and silver sides twice a day. Could you please tell me what and how often an Australian Harlequin Tusk of this size is fed while under your care at the Diver's Den? How about serving size? I also have to be careful that I dont overfeed since he is in a 10 gal. quarantine tank and this could lead to poor water quality. Thanks for the great fish and your advice!

Regards,
Gary

Capt. Nemo,

Thank you for contacting us with your question. We are happy to hear the Tusk is doing well. We feed the fish at our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility once per day. We recommend only feeding him enough food that can be consumed within 2 minutes. We hope this information helps. Congratulations on ordering him, he is a beautiful specimen.
