Feeding sps

Do you feed your sps corals? If so, what and how are you doing it? I am thinking about it but not sure if I will see noticeable results.

I feed reef energy a and b everyday and feed oyster feast and acro power twice a week. Helps with color and pe. If u have a heavy fish load (unlike me) then maybe just dose some amino acids because the best thing for sps to eat is fish poop

Have you run into any algae problems feeding them? That is what I am worried about.

I do grow a lot of bubble algae in my tank. My tank runs uln so I kind of have to, but I did gradually work up to the dosage. I would definitely not start heavy, but try one of the other first to observe it it grows nuisance algae for you. One other thing I heard was that it helps to keep the reef energies refrigerated, not sure of the truth but I don't it anyways. The one thing I did feed that caused hair algae was the phytofeast. I also run a big skimmer, sock, bio pellets, gac and gfo, and no3po4x so I tend to feed more heavily than I could get away with

Reef chili and spot feed for sps ? I've tried acropower and possibly doing it too little but didn't see great results.

My tank is small and accessible enough to where I always spot feed my sps with the oysterfeast, the rest just goes in the powerhead

I feed the corals as follows:
1 day- reef pepper (2 tablespoons) + h2o ocean lps (1 tablespoon)+ amino acids.
2 day- reef pepper (1 tablespoon) + h2o ocean lps (2 tablespoons).
3 day- h2o ocean reef paste.
4 day- back again.
Sunday, Fauna marin grow and color for lps.
