feeding tang cheato?

i want to feed my tang fresh food.is there any way to keep the cheato from going all over the tank?is it a good idea to feed him cheato?he really makes a mess.

I used to let my Naso eat cheato and it finally bound her up for days. She was finally able to pass the big wad, but I am sure she would have died if she hadn't, as she wouldn't eat and was not doing well. I read a post around the same time this happened to my Naso from a guy who autopsied a large angel of his that mysteriously died and it's gut was completly bound up with cheato. Since then I have not given my tangs cheato.
