I feed my fish 3 times a day. First is about an hour after full lights on, then again around noon ish then again right before my lights start ramping down.
Then twice a week I broadcast feed my corals by waiting until it's blue lights only at the end of the day. I slowly ramp down my lights then after it's blues only I'll make my Coral Frenzy or Cyclops mixed with tank water I feed it to the tank after the blues have been on only for at least 30 minutes. You'll know when to feed them by watching their feeder tentacles come out.
Maybe twice a month I direct feed my corals at the same time as above but I mix Coral Frenzy, Cyclops, frozen brine, frozen mysis, some small pellet food and tank water. I then turn off all flow in my tank and use a turkey baster to spot feed each coral some of the mix. I'll leave the flow off for 10 minutes or so giving the corals time to eat the direct feeding.
This is what I do in my mixed reef, I've got fish, SPS, LPS and leathers along with two BTA's but my tank is LPS dominant
